Oldly-weds

Last Saturday, Mr & Mrs Kong went for a typical English pub lunch at a quaint little village pub near Northampton called The Old Cherry Tree in Great Houghton.

It was filled with the 'older' set having a beer & a bite to eat on a lazy Saturday afternoon. We really felt old there!

Avacado, Stilton & Mushroom Salad

Smoked Sausage Salad... and a half pint of IPA...

But the food was good - Mrs Kong had a Avacado, Stilton & Mushroom salad and Mr Kong had a Smoked Sausage salad. Healthy eh?

It had a reasonable ala carte menu too so we might venture there for dinner one day... once we shake off the 'oldly-weds' feeling (as opposed to newlyweds...)

ps - here's an interesting sign that caught our eye as we were driving off, I'm glad we got out of there fast!
