Nigel Slaters Chocolate Brownies

Its official - Mrs Kong is going bananas. Missing family and friends, I have resorted to doing something I never thought I would do on a pleasant Sunday afternoon... bake chocolate brownies!!

The process was a complicated one, especially since Mr Slater did not think to make his recipe as idiot proof as necessary. Would one necessarily be born with the knowledge of how to melt chocolate? Should he not explain it a little more?

Of course I cheated a little and skiped a few steps (one egg yolk missing but who cares). Overall a little burned but approved by the resident Chocolate Brownie Monster. Also, credit had to be given to the Chocolate Brownie Monster who helped turn the oven on, melt the chocolate and "clean" the mixing bowl.
