Choice

You can't choose the type of parents who are given to you but you can choose to be the type of parents you want your children to have.

sometimes..easier said than done cos we always fall back to our old ways/ grandmother's style, etc..

Hi Rachel! well, maybe grandmother's style is not so bad either, if it is based on integrity, respect and love.

What I have realised is that children learn much more from their parents actions and behaviour; so much more than what they say. Children also pick up on negativity so quickly and coming from their own parents, it causes the biggest hurt in the world.

It is the most difficult job I know, being a parent, and it is easier said than done. But perhaps being a good parent is not so much in what we say or do to our children but more who we are as a person ourselves.

Its just an epiphany for me!
