Tonight, we tried making some Yong Tau Foo. To be exact,
Yong Lat Chiu (Stuffed Chillis) - got the
fish (Coley fish, not really Tenggiri) &
chillies from Morrisons Supermarket.
The fish paste that I made looked pretty authentic but a bit too flaky & not 'rubbery' enough but boy, were the chillies HOT!
We almost died. Mrs Kong gave up after one bite & my head almost exploded. Eyes, nose, forehead, lips & brain were watering... I think we've been away from Malaysia a little too long...
